About the Role
We are seeking a talented and creative Fashion Designer to develop original clothing and accessory collections that combine style, quality, and functionality. As a Fashion Designer, you will transform ideas into innovative designs, from initial concept sketches to finished products, while staying ahead of fashion trends and meeting customer expectations.
This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for fashion, creativity, and attention to detail who enjoy bringing new collections to life.
Responsibilities
- Research fashion trends, fabrics, colors, and consumer preferences.
- Design seasonal clothing and accessory collections.
- Create sketches, technical drawings, and design specifications.
- Select fabrics, trims, colors, and materials.
- Develop prototypes and oversee sample production.
- Collaborate with pattern makers, product developers, and manufacturers.
- Revise designs based on fit sessions and production requirements.
- Ensure collections meet quality, cost, and production timelines.
- Work closely with merchandising, marketing, and e-commerce teams.
- Present new design concepts to management and stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in fashion design, apparel development, or product design.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and fashion trends.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar design software.
- Excellent creativity, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience designing successful fashion collections.
- Experience with luxury, contemporary, or ready-to-wear brands.
- Knowledge of sustainable fashion and ethical manufacturing.
- Experience working with international suppliers and manufacturers.
- Familiarity with CLO 3D or other digital fashion design software.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and commercial success.

Salary
United States (Typical Range)
- Entry Level: $55,000–$70,000 per year
- Mid-Level: $70,000–$100,000 per year
- Senior Fashion Designer: $100,000–$140,000+ per year
- Design Director / Luxury Brands: $150,000+ per year
Compensation varies based on experience, location, employer, and specialization.
